Katina Rojas Joy is Senior Director of Specialty Sales (Military) and Policy Research at Respira Medical. Previously, she served as a political appointee in the Obama Administration in the Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Commerce, Office of Business Liaison. She was the first Latina to hold the position of Deputy Director. She co-led international trade missions to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, South America and West Africa. She also co-led the launch of the U.S. Patent and Trademark regional offices in Dallas and Silicon Valley to help entrepreneurs navigate the U.S. intellectual property system. She spent almost 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry and is currently in law school.
