Maria Cristina (or “MC”), directs Estée Lauder Corporation’s engagement with the governments of nations where the company operates or markets products, strengthening it’s reputation among policy and community leaders. Previously, she served as assistant to President Barack Obama and Director of Communications to First Lady Michelle Obama, leading the team charged with developing and communicating the First Lady’s four key initiatives while overseeing day-to-day communications. MC holds a B.A. in international relations from Tufts University.
