During their panel at the 2016 Animus Summit, Caroline López-Beauchamp & Francisco G. Bonet discuss government programs and incentives in Puerto Rico as well as other opportunities in the new economy.

Caroline López is Under Secretary of the Department of Economic Development and Commerce of Puerto Rico. She is a CPA and attorney currently in public service promoting Puerto Rico as a top investment and business destination. She recently joined the board of the Puerto Rico Technoeconomic Corridor, a nonprofit group that serves as a liaison among the public, private and academic sectors to further develop economic growth through innovation and globalization. Caroline is the founder of Not4theOrdinary, a movement that promotes gender balance by strengthening women’s leadership skills.

Francisco G. Bonet is Executive Director for the Puerto Rico Medical Tourism Corporation. His areas of expertise include international business development, tourism, technology and financial services. He has held executive level positions in the Puerto Rico Tourism Company and the Department of Economic Development and Commerce. Since 2014, Francisco has been instrumental in advancing the island’s medical tourism program.
